Large mooring area

Our Marina has more than 700 berths that can accommodate boats up to 30 metres in length (depth: 4m). The berths are installed on wide concrete and timber-planked piers. All berths are serviced with water and electricity (220/380 V). Concrete moorings and rustproof steel bollards are available.

Quietness & privacy

Though Izola Marina is open port, only berth holders are admitted to the piers by means of electronic keys, thus ensuring peace and a relatively high degree of privacy.

Safety & spaciousness

Safety is the major advantage of the Izola Marina tourist port which is well protected from all winds and other troublesome weather phenomena by two large breakwaters. The large distances between piers allow better manoeuvring during the landing even in poor weather conditions. 24-hour landing assistance is guaranteed.

Izola Marina makes you feel comfortable both ashore and afloat. It offers all the necessary infrastructure: uncovered and covered car parks, boat charter and sales agency, nautical equipment stor, sport facilities, shopping centre, restaurant, gambling house… Marina guests also enjoy access to wireless internet service.

Servicing & maintenance

Izola Marina provides a travel lift (50t) for lifting operations and a self-moving trolley for boat transport. Boat servicing and maintenance include servicing vessels’ underwater parts, boat engines service and repair, installation and repair of navigation devices, upholstery and joinery works, sail repair, mast installation and vessel cleaning.

In summertime, Izola Marina hosts numerous sailing regattas. The Diplomatic Regatta, featuring more than 100 sailing boats and 1.200 sailors, is one of the most renowned ones.

Nearness of the old town centre

Just a stone’s throw away from the Marina, Izola Old Town intrigues visitors with its rich architecture and cultural events held all year long. Autochthonous culinary delicacies can be enjoyed, too. Read more
